The sheer size of Brazil brings a wide range of climates. Generally, it can be broken in to three main regions:
Equatorial Climate – Northern Brazil crosses the equator and is hot and humid year-round, with constant and considerable rainfall.
Tropical Climate – Central and Southern Brazil, with a dry season typically from May through August and a wet season, usually from October through March.
Mediterranean Climate – in the southernmost part of Brazil, with mild winters and hot summers.
