Guadeloupe has a tropical climate and is hot and humid year-round. January to mid-April brings the (relatively) cooler and drier season when the northeast trade winds blow steadily. June to December is the hot, humid and rainy season and the trade winds are less constant.
The amount of rainfall varies greatly depending on area.
Hurricane/cyclone season runs from June through November with historically more storms between August and October.
