Puerto Rico has a tropical climate and is hot year-round, with a hot and muggy season from May to October and a (relatively) cooler season from December to March. The average temperature is 27°C (81°F) and there is little variation in temperature over the seasons.
The dry season is November through May and the wet season from June to November.

Hurricane season runs from June through November with historically more storms between August and October.
